House in probate, could i receive money

my husband died in nov of 2002 my divorce from him became final a week later, house went into probate, his son is executor of the estate. My name is not on the deed. His son is executor of the estate, the estate is in probate and is final may 11 2004, I just found out that my deceased husband did not pay our taxes in 1999 and 2001 we were separated during that time but we filed jointly can i still claim at probate court the IRS debt also there is 50,000 dollars available after probate do i have any legal rights to this money?

It may be too late to file a claim, but I'd have to know more about the probate to be sure. I'd also have to know more about the will (if any) to see if you're entitled to any part of the estate.
