Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California
my husband passed away a year ago, my husband and his brother lease a yard for storing cars, engine hoist stuff like that.the lease is in the brothers name but i have receipts showing that i pay half the rent on the leased yard. the engine hoist belonged to my husband. i'm selling the hoist but when i took a potential buyer to look at it the brother got upset and changed the locks on the gate to the yard saying that the hoist is half his so that i cant sell it, but i have the bill of sale showing it was sold to my husband. legally how can i resolve this?

You are going to have to reach an agreement with your former brother in law over title to the hoist.
