Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California
My husband and I had a trust (will included) set up by an attorney about five years ago. We need to update it but don't want to contact that attorney again. Do we need to? We don't want to start from scratch nor do we have money to pay for starting from scratch. How can we do this?

Another attorney can update, you do not have to contact the old attorney.

A trust ordinarily can be amended to reflect changes in since the execution of the original document. If you have any questions, I can assist you or refer you to someone who can.
