Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

I am included in my grandmother's will. She died almost one & a half years ago and nothing has been resolved. My uncle is the executor & refuses to discuss anything. What are my rights?

You have a right to a copy of the Will, a yearly or so accounting as to assets and expenditures, the ability to file for probate and nominate some to be the administrator of the estate, etc. Ask your grandfather if he needs some help, as the later the probate ends the more trouble it involves.

You can, and should, also check the file in the probate matter to be sure that you have gotten notice of anything that has been filed or set for a hearing in Court.
