inheritance tax

after i sell the lands in istanbul turkey, i will pay inheritance tax there, but i m going to bring the money from the sale to california where i live, I have been told that i have to pay inheritance tax in california also, is this true?. thanks

See prior answer; in general, you get an offset for any foreign taxes paid.
