Does an adopted child or adult lose the right to claim any inhieritence from biological parents?

When you are legally adopted, you are supposed to be treated as though your adoptive parents are you biological parents. So any order of child support would end, the name of your father on your birth certificate will change, etc. So you would not have a legal connection to your biological parents.

Yes, unless the biological parents explicitly provide for the person in a will that is probated or a trust that is funded.
