Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

My in-laws left their home to my husband and his sister but while my father-in-law was ill she got him to put the home in her name. I tried to get the District Attn to do something but they said it is a civil case. We have no money now and my husband's sister has already got a mortgage out on the house? Where can we get legal help?

You'll need to hire a lawyer.

You should hire a lawyre right away. You may not, however, have any recourse. If your father-in-law was competent when he gave your sister-in-law the house there may be nothing you can do about it.
