Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

What are we intitled too?

My Fathers net worth was over 6 million dollars. My Mother was married to him for over 20 years and my 2 older brothers lived with him after they got divorsed , I stayed with my Mother but saw my Dad on a regular basis. After 7 years or so my Father re-married a lady Ill call Sandy -She had 3 sons of her own. My Father was diagnost with cancer many years later and died last July 4th. My Father and Sandy were married for over 20 years also. We were told(and it was understood) that there were certain things that my Father wanted his (natural sons) to have. When came the reading of the will--none of us were even given a copy of the will to look at. Sandy took everything my Father owned and left us with a few fishing reals and 25,000 dollars each. Nothing compared to what she got and her sons. Her sons are driving around in brand new hummers and living the good life-while his natural sons were humilated at the reading with her smug remarks and untolerable behavior. My question is ''werent we(as his natural sons'' intitled to at least see the will and or get a copy of it? and cant we contest the will? If anyone out there has some answeres or ideas-it would be greatly appricated-thank you--

It may be possible to contest the will -- but it also may be too late to try. Has the will been probated? Were you notified that a court case has been opened to probate the will? If so, did you do anything? These questions have to be answered first before we even know if you have the possibility of a claim.
