Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

I am involved in a probate matter in which there is a house involved. There are three other people besides me. I want to sell and get my money they want to rent it out. Can they stop the sell of the house ? I also spent money on repairs and property taxes, upgrades. Am I entitled to reimbursement ? Thank you for your time.

The answers to your questions will depend to a large extent on what the will says and how title to the house is, and will be, held. Ultimately, if the other three don't, for example, want to buy you out, you should be able to seek a partition by sale of the property. That is a time consuming and, potentially expensive, process in court. In the meantime, you are entitled to reimbursement for any expenses that you have advanced. I suggest that if the four of you can't sit down and work it out that you seek some independent third party that you all trust to help you.

Good luck.

You do not provide any of the important information to answer your question. You say it is a probate issue, but then tell nothing about the status of the probate, who the administrator is, or what the will says, or even if there is a will. You need to sit down with an attorney and go over the details of your situation. There is no other way to get an answer to this kind of question.
