You should contact a local Estate Planning attorney. The additional costs will far outwiegh the risks of a poorly drafted canned Irrevocable Trust.

As an attorney, I am overly liberal in telling people they might be able to do the needed legal work, or at least part of it, by themselves, but when a person asks about an irrevocable as opposed to revocable trust it is a tip off that you need to see an attorney first. Please also see the prior responses made by the attorneys on this web site as to the significant difference between the two.

I agree with the other attorneys who answered here. You should not attempt to draft an irrevocable trust on your own. There are so many factors and legal considerations that should be addressed prior to deciding on whether an irrevocable trust is appropriate or not. Please contact an estate planning attorney in your area for assistance on this.
