Joint Bank Account

My father died and had a joint bank account with his girlfriend that he lived with for 3 years. This account was for a vacation property they owned together in joint tenancy. I know the property goes to her, but does the bank account belong to her also.

Joint bank accounts normally mean they are totally owned by both parties, and therefore, have righ to survivorship, just like joint tenancy in real estate.
