Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

Judge awarded me the House- but it's still not in my name

How do I go about having the house legally put in my name? My x- is not going to cooperate with me.

if you can email me more information on the actual court order you received quieting title to this home in your name alone, as well as your ex's arguments to date to try to prevent this from happening, i can offer you alot more legal assistance in this matter, as well as possible representation to help ensure you get title in your name asap.

Your spouse has to cooperate with the court order. If the spouse does NOT cooperate you file a motion with the court to force the spouse to sign. This motion must be PERSONALLY SERVED on the spouse. Then, if the spouse does not appear and explain to the court, the court can throw the spouse in jail for contempt of court.
