Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

Left Undone

My best friend of 30 years has

recently, unexpectedly passed. She

did have a will, had made major

revisions in her hand writing to that

will but had not yet sent it to her

attorney for formal revisions nor had

it notarized. Because it is clearly in

her handwriting, will this stand up?

Re: Left Undone

Probably not. A holographic will (in her own hand) must be all in writing and signed by her at the end.
