If you mean how old do you have to be to make a Will,I do not think there is a legal age limit, but th younger you are the more likely a court would find you did not have the mental capacity to know what you were doing. You still should made a Will as it directs your parents or who ever survives you as to what your wishes were. If the entire document is in your handwriting [including date, letterhead, etc.] then you can make a Will in California that does not have to have any witnesses present and say they saw you sign it.

Is there a reason for asking the question or are you just wondering? I hope you are not intended to do something to yourself. Such thoughts are normally curable.

I'm not sure what you mean. The legal age to apply for letters of administration to probate someone else's will, or the legal age to make a will. I assumeyou mean the former. In that case it is 18 unless the person is an emancipated minor.
