Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

All of my legal documents - living trust, will, power of attorney, etc were created when I was an Idaho resident. Now I live in California. Are these documents still valid even though I have moved.

Most likely unless you're married, since CA is a community property state and there might be other issues. Also, you might consider redoing the powers of attorney to comply with CA law, though.

you should have a new durable power of attorney and advance health care directive. if your trust was not prepared or amended within the last 5 years it should be reviewed. it is also important to ensure that all of your assets which would be subject to probate are properly held by you as trustee of your trust.
