Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

life estate

We are looking for a form that allows for myself or my fiance (soon to be husband) to be allowed to stay in our jointly owned home should one of us die. However, we both want to make sure that that our share of the house will eventually go to our respective children.

Re: life estate

This can be easily accomplished a number of ways, most commonly by use of trusts. Pretty much any estate planning firm should be able to handle this, you will probably be best served by a local firm (I recommend using Lawyers.com or going to the California State Bar Website and searching for an Estate Planning Specialist in your area).
