Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

Life Insurance policys

Dad and mom took out life insurance policys on us three siblings plus my daughter. It does not amount to much but I would like my daughter to receive hers.

The beneficary states Mom and dad

and on my daughters it list me. The others list my mom and dad. If mom dies which she did then dad owns it. Dad signed over his side of the will to me. Is this considered something I need to take care of on his side. Dad is soon to pass according to his dr. I am just going through his papers and found these.

Appreciate any help.

Re: Life Insurance policys

Your question does not make any sense. Call a lawyer, make an appointment and go through the papers with him or her. If Dad is mentally competent, there may be a lot that can be done to save significant money.

Re: Life Insurance policys

you need to retain an attorney to review these issues with you and determine what other actions can be taken now with regard to your father's estate.
