Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

I live in california, i am in a family trust created by inlaws over 30 yrs ago, i am estranged from my spouse, i want to find out about whats in the trust and who the lawyer is who originated the trust, is it possible to find out these answers. thank you

If you are a beneficiary, you have a right to ask for a copy of the trust instrument from the attorney. I doubt that you will be a beneficiary for long, however, if the trust is revocable and you are estranged from your spouse and expect to be in your spouse's trust.
