Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

I live in California...my parents have a living trust but both have now passed away this year leaving the home to their children (us). I was told its best to setup a trust and move the house into it from the now revocable trust (formerly living trust due to death) to protect it rather than change the ownership to me and my brother. What is the process to do this?

Same process whether you have your own living trust or not. The trustee must deed the property to the beneficiaries. A living trust does not "protect" the property, just avoids probate on death.

Your parents' living (which just means it was in established while they were alive) trust was revocable while they were alive, and is now irrevocable.
