Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

Hi I live in a Manufacure home and I recieved a 3 day notice to from my mortgage company. I got layed off over a year ago and have been having trouble paying my mortage along with other bills (I'm a single mother). My question to you, I know I can't afford this my home any more and I have no problem given back to the mortgage company. But this notice I recieved is to get out in 3 days, I'm a single mom and there is no way I'm going to be able to find a place for me & my son in 3 days. Is there any way I can get more time from the Law corp. that is handling this? Please help

Thank you,

Contact them and see if the two of you can't agree on a set date in the future to vacate the home. The three day notice is the beginning of the eviction process; if you do not vacate at the end of the three days the next set of documents will be a summons and complaint for unlawful detainer of the property, and after that a judgment for possession with a writ of possession, all of which will take a few weeks, so you have some bargaining leverage to get at least thirty days more to move out.
