Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California
I live in Sacramento, CA and have a living trust but one son died and I need to update my will. My assets need to be reassigned and updated. How complicated and expensive to do that? Is it necessary to have an attorney do that or can I type and notarize my changes.

You can amend your trust. If you go to law school before you do so, you will have some idea whether your amendment will be effective to carry out your wishes and you will not have the expense of hiring an attorney. But then you will still have a fool for a client. If it were me I would at minimum consult with an attorney.
