living trust

i have a living trust but now i want to change the beneficaries. do i need another attorney to do this or can i make an ammendant myself and add it to my existing package?

While you could draft the change your self the problem might be in the procedure to make sure the amendment is valid. You might consider contacting someone at JMBM.com. The do a lot of this work.

You can do it yourself. First get a book, such as from Nolo Press, that tell you what to do.

You can, but after having had to fix many well-intentioned but poorly drafted amendments, I'd recommend having an attorney do it. This is especially true for changing beneficiaries--you'll want to anticipate objections and try to draft something that will protect the new ones as much as possible.

You'd be better off having an attorney handle it for you. You will need them to make an Amendment to the trust.
