living trust
mom just died,sister is trustee,
how and when do i get to read will?
i think it's 50-50, i'd like to know.
if so how long before i get my share

you should request a copy of the trust agreement from the trustee. normally, if the trustee is properly advised by a qualified attorney, a notice will be sent to all beneficiaries. see Probate Code 16060, et. seq. at

the length of time the trust will continue to exist depends in part upon the trust agreement and in part upon the nature of the assets held by the trust. if the trust estate contains substantial assets you should retain a qualified attorney to advise you regarding your rights and any action you should take.
Re: living trust
Under CA Law, the trustee is required to provide a copy of the trust to you. You should request a copy in writing as soon as possible.
Depending on the complexity and assets involved, nine months to a year is a reasonable time within which a trust should be administered so you can receive your distribution.
