Must the living trust to be recorded and if yes -where and on what form? If it is not recorded, is it still valid? Ate taxed paid separately on a trust?

Most trusts are not recorded. The deeds transferring title to real property into the trust must be recorded, however. No taxes are paid separately on a trust; the Service views the trust and the person who set it up as one person.

A trust is not recorded. If the trust includes real property, the deed transferring the property to the trust (in the name of the trustee as trustee for the trust) is what is recorded.
