Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

Living Trust Stipulations

My mother has 2 adult children. She has a short time to live. She (mother) wants to change her current trust to delay the son's benefits by 5 years. Should a subtrust be created or can that be simply be amended to the beneficiary provision??

Re: Living Trust Stipulations

Without seeing the terms of the original trust, it is difficult to be certain. An Amendment will usually be sufficient if it is completely clear what her intentions would be.
