Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

Living Trust-Wrong Trustee

The acting Trustee is not the correct one. Paperwork has been found stating acting Trustee was notified prior to my Father's passing of their removal. Trustee has been asked numerous times to provide copy of Trust and an accounting of asset's and has almost a year later still not complied. In the meantime bills are not being paid car being repossed and home in danger of being lost. How do I stop or put on hold any further actions until there is clarification of Trustee?

Re: Living Trust-Wrong Trustee

you should retain an attorney and file a petition with the superior court for removal of trustee, for an accounting and for other relief (depending upon whether or not there has been any impropriety on the part of the trustee).
