Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

Living will state requirements

I live in two states:

MN from March or Apr thru Dec and CA from Jan thru March or April. Which state laws do I abide by when writing my will?

Re: Living will state requirements

It can depend on where your property is located, but most trust and estate laws are relatively similar in that they disclose your personal intent and interest. I would need to do a little more research because it seemes you spend a bit more time outside of CA, but where do you hold a driver's license...basically, what is your recorded state of residency?

Our office specializes in wills, trusts and estates and we would be happy to assist you in preparing not only a will (because this alone will NOT avoid probate) but a living will, powers of attorney, transfer of assets as well as the most important item to avoid probate, a family trust.

Please feel free to contact our office for a free consultation regarding your situation. I can be reached at the email provided by LawGur, or through our firm's informative website located at No-Probate.com.
