Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California
What do you do when the minor beneficiary refuses to give you a bank and account number inwhich to sell her stick share and have the monies wired to that account. She is angry with me without cause and refuses to cooperate.

Actually, most trusts authorize distributing the share of a minor beneficiary to a custodian under the Uniform Transfer to Minors Act. Will one of the minor's parents cooperate? If not, you can probably appoint a custodian.

Is the beneficiary a minor (meaning less than 18) or is the beneficiary receiving less money than other beneficiary's? If the beneficiary is a minor, you can distribute the money to the custodian of the minor or keep it in trust until the minor turns 18. If not a minor, send a check.
