Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

My mother passed away over two and a half years ago. My sister hired a lawyer and took control of the estate. Its been almost 2 and a half years and its still in probate and my sister or her attorney will not answer any questions. What can I do to get answers?

You can file a petition with the court demanding an accounting or a status update.

You can file a petition to demand an accounting. You can also ask for your sister to be removed as executor. Before doing any of this, you should look at the Court file for your mother's estate to be sure that you know everything that has been done so far. If you need help, please do not hesitate to call.
