Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California
My mother-in-law died recently. She had placed all her assets in a living trust of which I am now the trustee. Is there a specific period of time during which claims for services rendered (or any other claims) must be submitted

There are a number of time periods that you have to be concerned with and a number of notices that have to be sent. Generally, however, claims against a decedent must be filed within one year of the date of death.
The administration of a trust can be somewhat tricky. If you would like our assistance, please give me a call.
