Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California
Before my mother's death, she distributed the majority of her jewelry amongst the 3 sisters. She originally had a document dated 2006 that listed all the jewelry and who it would go to. In the meantime she dispersed it and amongst some of the items she gave one grand daughter several necklaces that she decided she wanted her to have. In her latest document dated March 2009 the necklaces were removed off the document because she had already given them away. Upon her death, recently, the 2006 document was discovered where one of the necklaces had originally been noted for her grand son. Now the necklace is being disputed that it should go to the grandson from the 2006 document. Can you please advise.

I assume there were two documents written in 2006 that had conflicting sessions regarding the necklace. Need evidence to prove which one was the latest, which would control. Otherwise the grand daughter has a better chance because she has already had it.
