mothers rights

how can I regain custody of my 14 month daughter. I currently have 2 criminal cases Im fighting and a history of drug use. I am seperated from my husband and am seeking treatment. My mother has temp. guardianship since march 05 and I am limited with visits to daughter. im seeking help for addiction and fear total loss of rights will be taken. I need to know what is avalibale to have child with me provided my recovery and stablity.

From a factual standpoint, as things stand, you may have to be patient in trying to re-establish primary custodial rights to your child under the unfortunate set of circumstances you are facing right now. The Court is going to consider what is in the "best interest" of the child first and foremost. However, if you are able to show substantial proof that you have or are "changing your life around", the Court will strongly consider this evidence in making a possible custodial modification order.
