Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California
there may be multiple trust copies. cant find deceased person's most recent lawyer either. how do we get most legal copies of trust?

Trusts are always dated. The most current, therefore, is controlling. Find that one you may also get clues as to the attorney who drafted it.

Usually the attorney herself is also a notary and therefore affixed her seal to the signature page of the trust. You can cross reference the name to the California State Bar web site and locate the attorney that way.
