Is there any way to have the named "Executor" of a Trust removed for failure to act in the best interest of the Trust?

There is no such thing as an executor of a trust. The person that handles the trust's business and affairs is called the trustee. The answer to the next question, can a trustee be removed, is it depends. You would need to provide more factual information, such as terms of the trust, whether it is revocable, etc.
