Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

What is a non signing grantor checking account. I'm trustee for a decedent trust with a bank where the decedent had a bank account. I want to keep watch on the account online but they said that service is not available because it's a non signing grantor account. Thanks for your help

I've never heard of it. Is it possible you are mishearing the type of account, or misconstruing something that has been told to you either orally or in writing?
