Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California
both my parents passed away in 2016. It's been over a month since my dad passed away. they had a trust. I requested a copy by certified letter from my sister but she hasn't provided it. Every time I inquire about progress on estate she says she can't deal with it. How do I proceed?

Anyone can open a probate and petition to be executor of the estate. You can then obtain a court order that she deposit any will and trust documents with the court.
