Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

My partner just died in a single vehicle rollover accident. I have the death certificate but would like to read the coroner's report. Can I get a copy of that and if so, how do I proceed.

Not sure which legal area this falls under.

I am so very sorry to hear of your loss.

You should go to the website of the Coroner's office in the County that handled the autopsy. They should have instructions online as to how to obtain a copy of the report. I recently obtained a copy of an autopsy report for a client in Los Angeles County. It took several weeks, so you may have to be patient.
