Pension fund
My father passed and designated a beneficiary for his Operating Engineers pension and trust fund. How are we able to obtain the beneficiary's name since the administrative officer for the trust fund will not give us the name.

You can probate his estate and subpoena the information. That being said, if you deliver the death certificate to the fund administrator, it will notify the beneficiary of the interest and provide instructions tot he beneficiary about how to get paid.
If your dad died with any assets in his name, you should probate the estate.
