Person lives in Nevada and wont pay fine

Will the California court system go after a person that lives in Nevada for legal fees and court cost imposed by a judge?

If it is a civil case, the Court does not persue, the indvidual parties of the cases must do so.

yes, you have to get a sister state Judgment in NV. You will need to file your CA decision with the NV court system.

In order to impose such monetary charges, the California court must have jurisdiction over the out of state person, which only happens if that person physically is in California [I will not go into the issue of jurisdictiion over foreign corporations as that is more complex and not what you are asking]. I suspect you are asking not about the situation where the court is ordering the person to pay the court but rather pay the other party to the lawsuit [perhaps you are that party and wondering if you can ignore the court order by going to Nevada]; the Court will not do anything to collect money for any one of the parties to the lawsuit. It is up to the parties to get the money from the other party.
