I have a client who is gay, and needs a power of attorney for his partner. What is required in California?

Re: power of attorney
You will need an excellent attorney. You may contact me. I think you probably want to do it by trust.

If this is your "client" and you are asking...are you certain you want to handle this?
The rights are the same; anyone can be named on a Power of Attorney. A free one is available on our site at www.No-Probate.com.
Additionally, the rights of same-sex partners is discussed in detail at SameSexRights.com.
