Power of Attorney for decedents
When someone has given durable power of attorney to another person and the issuer dies, doesn't the power of attorney status stop? Also is it legal to charge someone to be their power of attorney?

Yes, power of attorney ends at death of person who granted power. Yes, agent can be entitled to compensation for services, unless the power of attorney provides for no payment.
