Can a probate case be appealed, and if so, does it go to a higher court? What is time frame for an appeal?

Final judgments are appealable. The deadline is very short for filing an appeal. An attorney would have to review the specific facts to know when a judgment was entered and when Notice was sent to determine the exact time for filing your appeal. I would contact an attorney at once to have the specific facts of your case reviewed.
