Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

I have an on going probate case. It is now schedule for a evidence hearing a trial date. what is the likely hood a judge would allow me to fire my lawyer and represent myself ex parte?

You have the legal right to do so. The judge will probably push you to get another attorney but will eventually accept the situation. But you have to estimate what you will get on your own as opposed to having an attorney represent you.
