Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California
Probate Costs
A will is probated in California. Beneficiary A gets an automobile valued at $20,000. Beneficiary B gets $100,000 cash from a bank account. Beneficiary C gets furniture valued at $5,000. if appraiser's are necessary for the automobile and the furniture which beneficiaries pay for that. Does each beneficiary's share get reduced in relation to the percentage of the value of the estate they receive. Does Beneficiary B's share get reduced by 4/5ths of probate executor and attorney fees.

Re: Probate Costs
If the will is silent on the issue, the Executor proposes a solution and any interested party gets to agree or disagree. Ultimately the judge will decide any disagreements.
