If a deceased person has only one asset (home) in an irrevocable trust & has credit card debt, does her estate have to go through probate in CA? She also has a will, does that have to be filed in Probate Court?

Re: Probate

The will should be filed with the local Superior Court. No probate is necessary. The successor trustee is required to distribute the assets of the trust according to its terms.
