Re: do probate laws apply to revocable living trust
The probate code provides some of the rules regarding trusts, but there are significant differences between adminstration of wills and trusts. One rule that is particularly different is notification of beneficiaries after death. The area is complex and you should consider consulting an attorney if you have additional questions.
Re: do probate laws apply to revocable living trust
The laws do apply, but in a different way. The idea behind a trust is to avoid probate. Details of how this can be accomplished are available on our website,
(www.No-Probate.com).
Because you state that the trust is revocable there are additional considerations regarding taxation.
