Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

Do probate lawyers work on a detainer.my father died about a year ago and he went in on a house with my older sister she was liveing with him when he died.she says that there is a will and that the will that my father made for my mother was redone in 2004 and it says that if my mother dies wich she did that when my father dies everthing is hers.we are the only children,i am my fathers only son and my sister says that he did not leave me anything and that i am not on the will.ik her to see it and she shows me it from afar and wont let me touch iy,do i have any rights being his only son?

You don't necessity have a right to part of the estate, but you certainly have a right to see the Will and/or living trust, if any.

Michael Cusack is correct. You may want to seek the assistance of a probate attorney who will to represent you and file a petition into probate that will force the sister to file the will into court to allow you see the contents of the will.
