how does one dispute a probate settlement?

if you're a party to the settlement, don't sign or file a motion to revoke the agreement. if you're a beneficiary and don't agree with the personal representative who entered into a settlement agreement, state your objections before the settlement is approved by the court.

One has to appear in the probate as an interested party. A probate is a court proceeding to settle the question of who should get what property of a decedent.
