probate will
do i have to go to the court date on the petition if my name is on the will court for petition to probate estate. if i dont go does that mean im automatically taken off the will

I don't know which court date you mean. Consult a lawyer about protecting your rights.

You don't have to go to court unless you are trying to be appointed as the executor of the estate or you want to lodge an objection to the appointment of the nominated executor. It will not effect your share of the estate.
