Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

Probate/Trust

My grandfather and grandmother transferred their property to my father (one of five living children) in 1995. My father was the sole person on title and on the mortgage. My grandfather died in 1996 and my grandmother in 2005. My fathers siblings (four) filed a lawsuit stating there was a verbal trust set up where all would benefit equally from the estate. My father already settled with three but one uncle remains. What is the likeliness this uncle will win a judgment if presented before a judge? There is no written will or trust. There never was a verbal trust.
